Introductory prayers (L’shem Yichud) to be recited before the prayers of Shachris, Mincha and Maariv; handwritten by Grand Rabbi Yochanan Twersky of Rachmistrivka. In the L’shem Yichud to be recited before Shachris the Rebbe wrote out the appropriate divine name. Standard form as featured in the Bais Yaakov (Emden) siddur. Written on the back of the Rebbe’s stationary. Grand Rabbi Yochanan Twersky (1903-1982), was the son of R. David of Rachmistrivka, and father of the present Rachmistrivka Rebbe of New York, and grandfather of the present Rachmistrivka Rebbe of Jerusalem. After the passing of his father in 1950, he assumed leadership of the Rachmistrivka Chassidim until his passing in 1982. Renowned for his piety and fervent prayers.
