There is extensive discussion amongst bibliographers on the origin of this important Kabbalistic work. Although the title identifies the author as a student of the Ramban, others maintain that it was authored by R. Moshe Ben Yaakov of Kiev, also known as R. Moshe Hagoleh. See Ohel Rachel by C.
