Lot of 2 Hagaddas, one belonging to R. Moshe Aryeh Fruend, with his stamp, and the other to his wife Rebbetzin Freida, with her signature.
The Haggadah of R. Moshe Aryeh is printed in the Ksav Ashuris, which is based on Kabbalah. This copy was given to R. Moshe Aryeh by the sofer of the Haggadah, R. Avrohom Baruch Fuchs, with a long autograph inscription.
Those who were fortunate to attend the Seder of R. Moshe Aryeh can attest the intense spiritual levels which he reached during the exalted moments of the Seder, when he seemed to hardly be in the physical world.
R. Moshe Aryeh Fruend (1904-1996), was descended from a distinguished rabbinical family, and was renown from a young age for his scholarship and great piety. He served as a Dayan in Satmar and Rav in Nasod. During the Holocaust his wife and nine children were murdered. After the Holocaust, he emigrated to Yerusholayim, where he served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Satmar Yeshiva. He was later appointed as Ra’avad of the Eidah Ha’Chareidis and after the passing of the Minchas Yitzchok, he was appointed as Ga’avad. World renowned as a tremendous Talmid Chochom and miracle worker thousands flocked to him for blessings.

ההגדה של ר’ משה אריה מודפסת בכתב אשורי שמבוסס על קבלה. העתק זה ניתן לר’ משה אריה מאת הסופר שכתב את ההגדה – ר’ אברהם ברוך פוקס, עם הקדשה אוטוגרפית ארוכה.
אלו שזכו להשתתף בליל הסדר אצל הרה”ק ר’ משה אריה יכולים להעיד על המדרגות הגבוהות שהשיג ברגעים הנעלים של עריכת הסדר בליל התקדש חג, פניו כלפיד אש, ונראה שכמעט לא היה בעולם הגשמי כלל.
ר’ משה אריה פריינד (תרס”ד – תשנ”ו, 1904-1996) היה צאצא למשפחה רבנית מפוארת, ונודע עוד מצעירותו בלמדנותו ובצדקותו הרבה. שימש כדיין בסאטמער ורב בנסאוד. אשתו ותשעת ילדיו נספו בשואה, ולאחריה עלה לירושלים, שם שימש כראש ישיבת סאטמאר. בשנים מאוחרות יותר, נתמנה לראב”ד העדה החרדית, ועם פטירת המנחת יצחק, מונה לגאב”ד. הוא נודע בכל העולם כאיש קדוש תלמיד חכם עצום, ופועל ישועות, ואלפים נהרו אליו לברכות.
