Long autographed page of responsa (seemingly the second part of a longer letter), by R. Yaakov Schorr on various Torah topics.
R. Yaakov Schorr (1853-1924), was a close Talmid of R. Yosef Shaul Natansohn (Sho’el U’Maishiv), who granted him Semicha at the young age of 16! Known as an Illui and as an outstanding Talmid Chochom, he published his first Sefer, Beis Va’ad La ’Chachomim when he was just 15 years old. Among his other seforim are responsa Divrei Yaakov and She’aris Yaakov. He served as Rov in various communities, including Ludmir and Kitov.

עמוד אוטוגרפי ארוך של שו”ת (לכאורה החלק השני של מכתב ארוך יותר) מאת ר’ יעקב שור על נושאים תורניים שונים.
ר’ יעקב שור (תרי”ג-תרפ”ד 1853-1924) היה תלמיד קרוב של ר’ יוסף שאול נתנזון (שואל ומשיב) שסמך אותו לרבנות בהיותו נער צעיר בן שש-עשרה! היה ידוע כעילוי ותלמיד חכם מצטיין והוציא לאור את ספרו הראשון, “בית ועד לחכמים”, בגיל חמש-עשרה בלבד. בין ספריו האחרים שו”ת “דברי יעקב” ו”שארית יעקב”. שימש כרב בקהילות שונות כולל לודמיר וקיטוב.
