Author’s handwritten manuscript of the sefer Ayaloh Shlucha by R. Naftoli Maryles of Litvisk, son of the legendary R. Shimon of Yaroslov. Contains hundreds of Divrei Torah of many of the greatest Tzadikim of that era, with many of them only appearing here. Includes Divrei Torah from his father R. Shimon of Yaroslov, R. Uri of Sambor, the Seraph of Strelisk, The Apta Rov, The Chozeh of Lublin, The Tzvi L’Tzaddik, The Tzadikim of the Ruzhiner Dynasty, The Rebbes of Belz, Zidichoiv, R. Sholom Kaminka, The Yismach Moshe and countless others.
R. Naftoli Maryles (1828-1890), was a son of the famous Tzaddik, R. Shimon of Yaroslov. Although enormously respected as a great Talmid Chochom and Tzaddik, he declined to become a Rebbe, although he did accept “Kvitlach” which he placed on his father’s Kever. He served as Rov in Litvisk and was close to many great Tzadikim particularly to R. Sholom of Belz (Sar Sholom) and subsequently following the petirah of the Sar Sholom, to R. Yitzchok Isaac of Zidichoiv. Upon the passing of R. Yitzchok Isaac of Zidichoiv in 1873, he remained his Chossid and towards the end of his life he related that R. Yitzchok Isaac of Zidichoiv regularly appeared to him in dreams and remained his Rebbe as during his lifetime.
He wrote this sefer consisting of Divrei Torah on the Parshiyos and Moadim and following his passing, his son R. Yaakov Koppel prepared it for publication, receiving a Haskomo from R. Uri of Sambor (see lot …). Ultimately however, the sefer was not actually printed and the manuscript was eventually brought over by R. Naftoli’s descendants to America. A veritable treasure trove of Torah, it was eventually published in 1970, with the Haskomo of R. Yisroel of Bluzhev (see lot….) and is a rare source of many Chassidic Divrei Torah, hitherto unknown.

כתי’ק של מחבר הספר ‘אילה שלוחה’, מר’ נפתלי מרילוס מליטביסק, בנו של הרה’ק ר’ שמעון מירוסלוב. הספר מכיל מאות דברי תורה של רבים מגדולי אדמו”רי התקופה, כאשר רבים מהם מופיעים רק כאן. כולל דברי תורה של אביו, ר’ שמעון מירוסלוב, ר’ אורי מסמבור, השרף מסטרליסק, האוהב ישראל מאפטא, החוזה מלובלין, ה’צבי לצדיק’, הצדיקים לבית רוז’ין, האדמו”רים מבעלזא וזידיטשויב, ר’ שלום קמינקא, ה’ישמח משה’ ורבים אחרים.
ר’ נפתלי מרילוס (תקפ”ח-תר”נ 1828-1890) היה בנו של הצדיק הרה’ק ר’ שמעון מירוסלוב. למרות הכבוד העצום שרחשו לו כצדיק ותלמיד חכם מופלג, הוא סירב לשמש כאדמו’ר (אך כן קיבל קוויטלאך שאותם הניח על קבר אביו). הוא כיהן כרב בליטביסק והיה מקורב לצדיקים גדולים רבים, בפרט לר’ שלום מבעלזא (שר שלום) ולאחר פטירתו לר’ יצחק אייזיק מזידיטשויב. לאחר פטירתו של ר’ יצחק אייזיק מזידיטשויב בתרל”ג (1873) הוא הספיד אותו, ובסוף חייו סיפר שר’ יצחק אייזיק נגלה אליו בקביעות בחלומותיו ונותר רבו במותו כמו בחייו.
הוא כתב ספר זה הכולל דברי תורה על הפרשיות והמועדים. בנו, ר’ יעקב קופל, הכין את הספר לדפוס לאחר פטירתו וקיבל הסכמה מר’ אורי מסמבור (ראה פריט ….). אולם בסופו של דבר הספר לא הודפס, וברבות הימים צאצאיו של ר’ נפתלי הביאו את כתב היד לאמריקה. אוצר בלום זה של דברי תורה יצא לאור בשנת תש”ל (1970) עם הסכמה של ר’ ישראל מבלוזוב (ראה פריט…..). מדובר במקור נדיר של דברות קודש תורה רבים שלא היו מוכרים קודם לכן.
