Rare autograph letter by R. Heschel Rozovsky of Grodno to R. Moshe Avigdor Amiel, then Rav of Yaffo. Regarding a woman in Grodno who was seeking a “Get” (Divorce) from her husband who had immigrated to Tel Aviv. With the necessary details including the full name of the couple and the “Shliach” (messenger).
R. Yehoshua Heschel Rozovsky was a son of R. Michel Dovid Rozovsky (Rav of Grodno) and was an elder brother of R. Shmuel Rozovsky, (later Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh). He learned under R. Shimon Shkop and was known as an outstanding Talmid Chochom. He succeeded his father as Rav in Grodno and was killed by the Nazis.

ר’ יהושע העשיל רוזובסקי היה בנו של ר’ מיכל דוד רוזובסקי (הרב בגרודנא) ואחיו הגדול של ר’ שמואל רוזובסקי (לימים ראש ישיבת פוניבז’). למד אצל ר’ שמעון שקאפ ונודע כתלמיד חכם עצום. מילא את מקום אביו כרבה של גרודנא עד לרציחתו בידי הנאצים.
