Autograph letter to the Rav of The Hague Holland, inquiring about the kashrus standards of a certain food produced under his supervision.
R. Yosef Nechemya Kornitzer (1880-1933), was born in Cracow to R. Akiva Kornitzer, son-in-law and successor of R. Shimon Sofer, son of the Chasam Sofer and Rav of Cracow. In 1901, he married the daughter of R. Pinchos Chaim Klein, Rav of Selish, and was appointed Rosh Yeshiva there. After his father-in-law’s passing, he succeeded him as Rav of Selish. In 1925, he succeeded his father as Rov of Cracow. His novella and responsa were published in Bnei Brak by his son-in-law R. Shabse Frankel.

ר’ יוסף נחמיה קורניצער (תר”מ- תרצ”ג, 1880-1933), נולד בקראקא לר’ עקיבא קורניצער, בנו וממלא מקומו של ר’ שמעון סופר, בן החתם סופר והרב בקראקא. בשנת תרס”א (1901) נישא לבת ר’ פנחס חיים קליין, הרב בסעליש, ונתמנה שם לראש ישיבה. אחר פטירת חמיו, מילא את מקומו כרב בסעליש. בשנת תרפ”ה (1925), עבר לכהן כרב בקראקא אחר אביו.
חידושי התורה שלו ותשובותיו יצאו לאור בבני ברק על ידי חתנו ר’ שבתאי פרנקל.
