Magnificent, intricate handmade poster sent by the Koidonover Kollel in Yerusholayim to a benefactor.
It was common practice for benefactors in the Diaspora to send funds to their needy brethren in Eretz Yisroel. The old Yishuv was subdivided into many “Kollelim” which were supported by their “Landsleit”.
