Unique document signed by numerous Rabbonim confirming the receipt of a Sefer of an unspecified author. Among the signatories are R. Yaakov Barret and R. Yitzchok Elchonon Spektor.
R. Yaakov Barret (1797-1883), was born in Simina and was orphaned at a young age from both his parents. At the age of 14, he traveled to Kovno where he learned day and night in the great Slabodka Yeshiva. At the age of 18 he married the daughter of a wealthy individual who generously supported him for 6 years. He then went to Vilna where he studied in the Beis Midrash of R. Chaim Nachman Parnas. In 1850, R. Parnas founded a Yeshiva in Vilna for talmidim who were already knowledgeable in most of Shas and asked R. Yaakov Barret to be its leader. One of his most well-known talmidim from that period was the Chofetz Chaim. He eventually became a Dayan in Vilna and, being knowledgeable in many languages, also became a great advocate for the Jewish community of Vilna.
R. Yitzchok Elchonon Spektor (1817-1896), was renowned for his Torah genius, diligence and righteousness. He was the supreme Torah authority of his generation and led Lithuanian and Russian Jewry for many years with perception and wisdom. He served in the Rabbinate from 1837. In 1864, he was appointed to the distinguished position as Rav of Kovno. His responsa and novella were printed in Be’er Yitzchok, Nachal Yitzchok and Ein Yitzchok.

מסמך ייחודי עם חתימותיהם של רבנים רבים המאשרים את קבלת ספר מסוים בלתי מזוהה. בין החותמים ניתן למצוא את ר’ יעקב בארט ור’ יצחק אלחנן ספקטור.
ר’ יעקב בארט (תקנ”ז- תרמ”ג, 1797-1883), נולד בסימינא ונתייתם משני הוריו בגיל צעיר. בהיותו בן 14 שנים נסע לקובנא בה השקיע לילות כימים בלימוד התורה בישיבת סלבודקא. בגיל 18 נישא לבתו של יהודי עשיר אשר החזיק אותו על שולחנו במשך 6 שנים, ולאחריהן נסע לווילנא ללמוד בישיבתו של ר’ חיים נחמן פרנס. בשנת תר”י 1850 ייסד הר’ פרנס ישיבה בווילנא לתלמידים אשר כבר היו בקיאים ברוב הש”ס, וביקש מר’ יעקב בארט לעמוד בראשה. החפץ חיים היה מתלמידיו המפורסמים ביותר מתקופה זו. לימים נתמנה לדיין בווילנא, ובהיותו בקיא בשפות רבות, אף שימש כפעיל למען יהודי ווילנא.
ר’ יצחק אלחנן ספקטור (תקע”ז- תרנ”ו, 1817-1896), היה מגדולי הרבנים בתקופתו. נודע בגאונותו בתורה, שקדנותו וצדקותו. היווה את הסמכות התורנית העליונה בדורו והנהיג את יהדות ליטא ורוסיה בחכמה ובתבונה במשך שנים ארוכות. כיהן ברבנות מאז תקצ”ז 1837 ובשנת תרכ”ד 1864 נתמנה לתפקיד הרב בקובנא. תשובותיו וחידושי התורה שלו יצאו לאור בספרים באר יצחק, נחל יצחק ועין יצחק.
