R. Aaron Chaim Zimmerman (1914-1995), was born in Konotop, Ukraine to R. Yaakov Moshe Zimmerman who was a brother-in-law of R. Boruch Ber Leibowitz. He was known as a prodigy from a young age and as a teenager he studied with his uncle in the Kaminetz Yeshiva. He immigrated to the U.S and received Semicha from R. Moshe Soloveitchik. He served as Rosh Yeshiva in the Skokie Yeshiva in Chicago until 1964, when he moved to Eretz Yisroel where he lived until his passing. Author of Agan Ha’Saar among other seforim.

ר’ אהרן חיים צימרמן (תרע”ד-תשנ”ה 1914-1995) נולד בקונוטוף, אוקראינה, לאביו ר’ יעקב משה צימרמן שהיה גיסו של ר’ ברוך בער ליבוביץ. הוא נודע כעילוי מגיל צעיר ולמד בבחרותו עם דודו ר’ ברוך בער בישיבת קמניץ. הוא היגר לארצות הברית וקיבל סמיכה מר’ משה סולובייצ’יק. כיהן כראש ישיבה בישיבת סקוקי בשיקגו עד תשכ”ד (1964) ולאחר מכן עלה לארץ ישראל, שם התגורר עד פטירתו. מחבר ספר “אגן הסהר” וספרים נוספים.
