Tzvi Hirsch and requesting that they continue with their generous support. On the official stationary of the Ramailles Yeshiva. With warm blessings by both R. Tzvi Hirsch and R. Chaim Ozer.
The Ramailles Yeshiva (named after Rav Mailles), was one of the most prestigious Yeshivos in Lithuania following its founding in 1815 by the legendary R. Abele. R. Yisroel Salanter taught there and the Chafetz Chaim learned there for a few years. Its last Roshei Yeshiva were R. Shlomo Heinman and R. Yisroel Gutsman.

מכתב נדיר בכתב יד החתום על ידי ר’ חיים עוזר גרודז’ינסקי ואחיו ר’ צבי הירש גרודז’ינסקי, אל רב קהילת מלבורן, אוסטרליה, בתודה על תרומתו לישיבת רמיילס בווילנא בראשות ר’ צבי הירש ובקשה להמשך תרומתם הנדיבה. כתוב על נייר מכתבים רשמי של ישיבת רמיילס. עם איחולים לבביים מר’ צבי הירש ור’ חיים עוזר.
ישיבת רמיילס (על שם ר’ מיילס) נחשבה לאחת הישיבות החשובות ביותר בליטא בעקבות ייסודה בשנת תקע”ה (1815) על ידי ר’ אבל’י האגדי. ר’ ישראל מסלנט לימד בישיבה זו והחפץ חיים למד בה מספר שנים. ראשי הישיבה האחרונים היו ר’ שלמה היינמן ור’ ישראל גוטסמן.
