R. Yonah Navon (1713-1760), was one of the great Talmidei Chachomim of Yerusholayim and author of the well-known sefer Get Mekushar (Livorno 1785). He was the Rebbi of two of the next generation’s leaders: R. Chaim Yosef David Azulai (CHIDA) and the MaHaRI”T Algazi.
R. Binyamin Mordechai Navon (1788-1852), was the son of R. Yonah Navon whose seforim he published. He was well-known as a great Gaon and Mekubal. He was one of the leaders of the Beit-El community for many years, and Rosh Beth Din in Yerusholayim. Due to his tremendous humility, he refused to serve as Rishon L’Tziyon.

ר’ יונה נבון (תע”ג- תק”כ, 1713-1760) היה מתלמידי החכמים הגדולים בירושלים ומחבר הספר הנודע גט מקושר (ליוורנו תקמ”ה 1785). היה רבם של שניים ממנהיגי הדור הבא: ר’ חיים יוסף דוד אזולאי (החיד”א) והמהרי”ט אלגזי.
ר’ בנימין מרדכי נבון (תקמ”ח- תרי”ב, 1788-1852), היה בנו של ר’ יונה נבון ואף הוציא את ספריו לאור. נודע כגאון ומקובל עצום. משך שנים רבות כיהן כאחד ממנהיגי קהילת בית אל, ואף כראש בית הדין בירושלים. בענוותנותו הרבה סירב לכהן כראשון לציון.
