Important commentary to Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah by R. Moshe Yekusiel Katz, with an autograph inscription by R. Moshe Ginz, son-in-law of R. Akiva Eiger (HaRishon) and father of the legendary R. Akiva Eiger of Posen.
On the title page there is an inscription giving this sefer as gift to a Choson signed “Wednesday, the 5th of Adar I 5527, HaKatan Moshe Ginz M’A”SH” (of Eisenstadt).
R. Moshe Ginz of Eisenstadt was born into a rabbinical family and was a renowned Talmid Chochom. He is quoted numerous times in R. Akiva Eiger’s novella (see Chidushei R. Akiva Eiger Shabbos 4b and Teshuvos R. Akiva Eiger (Kamma #157). In the introduction to Mishnas R. Akiva authored by R. Akiva Eiger HaRishon, he is also referred to with unusually warm honorifics.
Additional signature of R. Zorach Lipa, Rav of Shactitz, with whom the Chasam Sofer corresponds in responsa Chasam Sofer (Even HaEzer 1:27).
With a few small handwritten corrections, possibly in the handwriting of R. Moshe Ginz.

בעמוד השער מופיעה הקדשה המעניקה את הספר כמתנה לחתן והחתימה “יום רביעי, ה’ באדר א’ תקכ”ז 5527, הקטן משה גינז מא”ש (מאייזנשטאט).
ר’ משה גינז מאייזנשטאט, נולד למשפחה רבנית והתפרסם כתלמיד חכם. ר’ עקיבא איגר מצטט ממנו פעמים רבות בחידושיו (ראה חידושי ר’ עקיבא איגר שבת דף ד ע”ב ותשובות ר’ עקיבא איגר (קמא מס’ 157). בהקדמה למשנת ר’ עקיבא שחיבר ר’ עקיבא איגר הראשון, הוא מוזכר גם כן בכינויי כבוד גדולים.
חתימה נוספת של ר’ זרח ליפא, רב בשכטיטס, אשר התכתב עם החתם סופר בתשובות חתם סופר (אבן העזר א, כז).
עם כמה תיקונים קטנים בכתב יד, יתכן בכתב ידו של ר’ משה גינז.
