R. Moshe Yonah Bondi of Prague (1768-1806), was a disciple of the Nodah B’Yehuda and a son-in-law of R. Hertz Schaer the Rav of Mainz. Although he died at a young age, he was renowned as a Torah genius and a tzaddik. His son, R. Shmuel Bondi was a leading Rav in Prague whose Piyutim were printed in the Roedelheim siddur.

ר’ משה יונה בונדי מפראג (תקכ”ח-תקס”ו 1768-1806) היה תלמידו של הנודע ביהודה וחתנו של ר’ הרץ שייער, רבה של מיינץ. למרות פטירתו בדמי ימיו, הוא נודע כצדיק וגאון בתורה. בנו, ר’ שמואל בונדי, היה רב מוביל בפראג שפיוטיו הודפסו בסידור רודלהיים.
