As is well known, Seforim printed by the Schapiro family press, particularly the Tehillim, were exceptionally favored by many of the great Chassidic Rebbes and in turn their followers. For generations, many have favored the saying of Tehillim from a Zhitomir edition.
Schapiro press. 216 pages. Tehillim is complete, but lacking some pages of the Ma’amados. The Ma’amados go until the middle of Yom Rishon (with additional pages until the middle of Yom Shlishi detached). 17.5 cm. Very fine condition. Some wear. Modern elegant leather binding.

כידוע היטב, ספרים שהוצאו לאור בדפוס משפחת שפירא, ובפרט ספרי התהלים, התחבבו במיוחד אצל האדמו”רים הגדולים, ומשם לחסידיהם. במשך הדורות האחרונים, רבים מעדיפים לקרוא תהלים מתוך מהדורת ז’יטומיר דווקא.
