Siddur according to the AR”I Z”L, edited and prepared by the Alter Rebbe of Chabad. Part one only.
Known within Chabad circles as the “Siddur im D”ACH,” (Divrei Elokim Chaim) this edition is based upon the earlier Berditchev edition. In 1837 the imperial Russian government enacted various decrees affecting the printing of seforim. As a result the printing of many seforim moved over the border to nearby Konigsberg. However, as a precaution the year and place of printing was often omitted.

הסידור מבוסס על דפוס ברדיצ’ב הקדומה ומכונה בקרב חסידי חב”ד “סידור עם דא”ח (דברי אלוקים חיים). בשנת תקצ”ז 1837, חוקקה הממשלה הרוסית האימפריאלית חוקים שונים אשר השפיעו על הדפסת הספרים. כתוצאה מכך, הועברה הדפסתם של ספרים רבים לקניגסבורג אשר סמוכה לגבול. עם זאת, פעמים רבות הושמטו מקום ושנת ההוצאה כאמצעי זהירות נוסף.
