This sefer became extremely popular due to its detailed and vivid descriptions of various places and sites throughout Eretz Yisroel (including customs of both Jews and Arabs). It includes an anonymous 16th-century travelogue of Eretz Yisroel, information pertaining to the whereabouts of the Ten Tribes, locations of the graves of various Sages, excerpts from the Travels of Benjamin of Tudela, Tefilos and more.
