Extremely rare and unrecorded polemic by R. Chaim Lehrman, dealing with the halachic laws of succession in respect of the position of a Shochet. Concerning a Shochet who wanted to transfer his position to his so-in-law upon his retirement. Including the laws concerning sons-in-law inheriting rabbinical appointments as well as whether a Rav may transfer his position to a child during his lifetime.
The issues raised in this sefer remain pertinent today and are often points of contention in Dinei Torah.
R. Chaim Lehrman (1867-1911) was a descendant of both the Vilna Gaon and the Chozeh of Lublin. He served as Rebbe in Dobrin-Plotzk. Published by the author’s son R. Simcha Bunim Lehrman of Lodz.

ר’ חיים להרמן תרכ”ז-תרע”א (1867-1911), צאצא לגאון מוילנא ולחוזה מלובלין, שימש כרב בדוברין-פלוטסק. הקונטרס הוצא לאור על ידי בן המחבר, הרב שמחה בונים להרמן מלודז’.
