R. Moshe Zacuto (1625-1697), was renowned as a great Talmid Chochom as well as a Kabbalist. Originally from Amsterdam, he attempted to journey to Eretz Yisroel via Italy. Whilst in Italy, he was appointed as Rav in Venice and subsequently in Montova.

ר’ משה זכות (שפ”ה-תנ”ז 1625-1697) נודע כתלמיד חכם עצום ומקובל. נולד באמסטרדם וניסה לנסוע לארץ ישראל דרך איטליה. בהיותו באיטליה הוא התמנה לרב בוויניציאה ומאוחר יותר במונטובה.
