The Kuzari is one of the most famous works of R. Yehuda HaLevi, the medieval Spanish Jewish scholar and poet, completed around 1140. Originally written in Arabic, it was then translated into Hebrew and is one the most fundamental and important works of Jewish philosophy.
R. Yehuda Moscato (1535-1590), served as Rov of Mantua and was one of the most influential rabbinical figures in Italy. His comprehensive commentary on the Kuzari (published posthumously) was received to great acclaim and has since been printed in almost every edition of the Kuzari.

חיבורו ההשקפתי המופתי של רבי יהודה בן שמואל הלוי, מהדורה ראשונה עם פירוש “קול יהודה” לרב יהודה מוסקטו.
הכוזרי הינו מחיבוריו המפורסמים ביותר של רבי יהודה הלוי, מחכמי ספרד הראשונים ופייטן. הספר נכתב במקור בשפה הערבית בשנת ד’ תת”ק (1140). לאחר מכן תורגם לעברית, והפך מהר מאוד לאחד מאבני היסוד בספרי ההשקפה היהודית.
הרב יהודה מוסקטו (רצ”ה – ש”ן, 1535-1590) כיהן כרב במנטובה והיה מרבני איטליה המשפיעים ביותר. פירושו לספר הכוזרי (אשר הוצא לאור לאחר פטירתו) התקבל באהדה רבה ומאז הודפס כמעט בכל מהדורה של הכוזרי.
