Classic Kabbalistic commentary on the weekly Torah portions by R. Avrohom Saba.
R. Avrohom Saba (1440-1508) was among the distinguished Talmidei Chachomim in Spain. With the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, he fled to Portugal and thereafter to Morocco. The manuscript of this sefer was lost during the author’s various exiles and upon arrival in Morocco he reconstructed it from memory.
R. Moshe Chalfin-Lipchitz (died 1831) was a talmid of the Kozhnitzer Magid and The Chozeh of Lublin and was the father in law of R. Menachem Mendel of Kotzk and R. Yitzchok Meir Alter of Gur (Chidushei Ha’Rim).

ר’ אברהם סבא (ר’-רס”ח 1440-1508) נמנה בין תלמידי החכמים המפורסמים בספרד. הוא נמלט לפורטוגל עם גירוש יהודי ספרד ברנ”ב (1492) ולאחר מכן המשיך למרוקו. כתב היד של ספר זה אבד במהלך נדודיו של המחבר, ולאחר הגעתו למרוקו הוא שחזר אותו מזיכרונו.
ר’ משה חלפין-ליפשיץ (נפטר בתקצ”א-1831) היה תלמיד של המגיד מקוז’ניץ והחוזה מלובלין וחמיהם של ר’ מנחם מנדל מקוצק ור’ יצחק מאיר אלתר מגור (חידושי הרי”ם).
