Book of sermons on the weekly Torah portions by R. Shem Tov Ibn Shem Tov.
Although the author was a prolific writer, only two of his seforim were published, the present work and a commentary to the RaMBaM’s Moreh Nevuchim. In this sefer he quotes extensively from the earlier commentaries, including Rashi, RaMBaN, Ibn Ezra with particular reference to “Ha’Moreh” (the Guide), i.e. the RaMBaM in Moreh Nevuchim. This is the second sefer printed in Padua.

אף שהמחבר היה סופר פורה, רק שניים מספריו יצאו לאור – הספר הנוכחי ופירוש ל”מורה נבוכים” של הרמב”ם. בספר זה הוא מצטט בהרחבה מהפירושים המוקדמים יותר, כולל רש”י, רמב”ן ואבן עזרא עם התייחסות מיוחדת ל”המורה”, דהיינו הרמב”ם ב”מורה נבוכים”. זהו הספר השני שנדפס בפאדובה.
