R. Menachem Ziemba (1884-1943) was one of the most eminent rabbinical figures in prewar Poland. Revered as a brilliant Talmid Chochom, he was actively involved in the Va’ad Ha’Rabonim of Warsaw. Interred in the Warsaw Ghetto he courageously continued his rabbinical duties during the Holocaust, until he was murdered on Pesach 1943.
