Lot of 2 letters. Autograph letter in Hebrew, dated 1938 during his tenure as Rosh Beth Din of London. Written to a close acquaintance in an expressive style describing his ongoing work towards the publication of his commentary on the Tosefta. The letter ends with R. Abramsky’s fervent desire to see the imminent return of the Jewish nation to the Holy Land. On personal letterhead. Fine condition; some folds. 21.5 by 26.5 cm. Autograph letter in Hebrew, dated 1946, during his tenure as Rosh Beth Din of London. Written to a Rabbi in the U.S.A. to accompany a Get being sent from a husband, residing in England, to his wife, living in the U.S.A. Of particular Halachic significance as it concerns the correct spelling of the name Joseph in a Get and would have specific ramifications on a Get being sent from England to the U.S.A. [See Igros Moshe Even Ha’ezer 1:132] On Beth Din letterhead. Fine condition; one stain. 13.5 by 16.5 cm.
