Verbau, and author of the Sharei Torah.
? R. Binyamin Wolf Lowy (1771-1841) was a son
and student of R. Elazar Lowey (Shemen Rokeach).
Renowned as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he
served in various rabbinical positions as well
as leading a large Yeshiva and authored many
important halachic works.
With lengthy note of R. Aaron Yosef Shmuel Segal,
(1806-1882) who was a prominent talmid of the
Chasam Sofer and Rav of Trentshin. Son in law of
the Sharei Torah.
Vinograd Constantinople 388. Ashkenazi press. 1,
4-246 pages 30cm. Some staining and foxing as well
as minor worming. Corner of one page restored with
minor loss of text. Fine wood and leather binding
(lacking clasps) with previous owners name on
cover.
