(died 1629). A most comprehensive work dealing
with complex civil and commercial laws.
? With signature of R. Binyamin Wolf Lowy, Rav
of Verbau (Sharei Torah). Additionally inscribed
twice “belonging to my father R. Bunim, Rabbi of
Mattersdorf ”; i.e. R. Bunim Eiger who was a brother
of R. Akiva Eiger of Posen. R. Bunim Eiger (1770-
1829) served as Rabbi in various communities
including Mattersdorf where in addition to his
rabbinical duties he led a greatYeshiva. Father in law
of R. Shlomo Zalman Ullman, the Yerios Shlomo.
With other rabbinical signatures, reading “Brachia
Beirach Shapiro” – possibly the author of the sefer
Zerah Beirach Ha’Shlishi (1670-1740).
