Long autograph letter detailing various seforim he is in the process of writing. With lengthy discussion on the correct pronunciation of the “extended Daled” in the word “Echad” of K’rias Shma’h and the necessary Kavanos one should have in mind. This letter is indicative of R. Sroya’s renowned expertise in Dikduk, Nussach and Kavanos. With mention of R. Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.
R. Sroya Davlitzky (1926-2018), was born in Riga and emigrated to Eretz Yisroel with his family in 1934. From the age of 13, he learned in the Gra shul in Tel Aviv under R. Yechiel Yisroelov and became close with R. Yosef Tzvi HaLevi, Rav of Tel Aviv. He then proceeded to learn at the Yeshivos of Kaminetz and Chevron. After his marriage, he settled in B’nei Brak where he became close to the Chazon Ish. He eventually established a Minyan and spent the rest of his years teaching Torah and writing many seforim on a wide range of topics including Halacha, Kabbalah, Dikduk, Derashos, Tefilah and more.

מכתב אוטוגרפי ארוך המפרט כמה ספרים שונים שהוא באמצע כתיבתם. עם דיון ארוך בנושא ההיגוי הנכון של ה”דלת הארוכה” במילה אחד בקריאת שמע, והכוונות שיש לכוון באמירתה. מכתב זה מעיד על מומחיותו הידועה של ר’ שריה בדקדוק, נוסח וכוונות. במכתב מוזכר ר’ שלמה זלמן אוירבך.
ר’ שריה דבלhצקי (תרפ”ו- תשע”ח, 1926-2018), נולד בריגא ועלה לארץ ישראל עם משפחתו בשנת תרצ”ד 1934. למד תורה מפי ר’ יחיאל ישראלוב בבית כנסת הגר”א בתל אביב מגיל 13, והתקרב מאוד לר’ יוסף צבי הלוי, רבה של תל אביב. בהמשך למד בישיבות קמניץ וחברון. אחר נישואיו התיישב בבני ברק והיה מקורב לחזון איש. בשלב מסוים ייסד מנין והקדיש את חייו להוראת התורה וכתיבת ספרים. כתב ספרים רבים במכמני התורה השונים, בהלכה, בקבלה, בדקדוק, דרשות, תפילה ועוד.
