R. Yitzchok Issac Yehuda Yechiel Safrin of Komarna (1806-1874), was a talmid of his uncle R. Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichoiv. He was renowned as a great Tzaddik and a tremendous Talmid Chochom. A prolific author he wrote many seforim, on various different Torah subjects all of which are extremely highly regarded.
The Chumash Heichal Ha’Brocha was published in Lemberg in 1866 and was received with unprecedented acclaim by many great Tzadikim and Mekubalim, particularly in Zidichoiv, Tzanz and Chabad. In a letter published at the beginning of Sefer Bereishis, the author assures that “whoever has this Chumash in his house will be protected from all harm and illness and will be blessed with abundant blessings etc.” For generations this was an accepted segulah particularly among Chasidim. In 1950, the Chumashim were reprinted in a magnificent facsimile on high quality paper in a numbered edition. This set is #458.

ר’ יצחק אייזיק יהודה יחיאל ספרין מקומארנא (תקס”ו- תרל”ד, 1806-1874), למד תורה מפי דודו ר’ צבי הירש מז’ידיטשוב. נודע כצדיק גדול ותלמיד חכם עצום. חיבר ספרים רבים במכמני התורה השונים, אשר כולם התקבלו באהדה רבה.
חומש היכל הברכה נדפס בלמברג בתרכ”ו 1866, והתקבל באהדה חסרת תקדים אצל גדולי הצדיקים והמקובלים, במיוחד בזידיטשוב, צאנז, וחב”ד. במכתב שהודפס בתחילת ספר בראשית כותב המחבר “ומובטחנו כל מי שיהי’ חומש שלנו בביתו ינצל מכל רע ומכל פגע רע ומחליים ומחסרון ויהי ביתו מלא ברכת ה’ וכל טוב והצלחה ועושר וחיים ארוכים לו ולבניו בלי ספק ובפרט באמונה שלימה”. במשך דורות הייתה סגולה זו מקובלת, בייחוד אצל החסידים.
בשנת תש”י 1950, הודפסו החומשים מחדש בפקסימליה מהודרת על נייר איכותי במהדורה ממוספרת. זהו סט מספר # 458.
