Handwritten betrothal agreement (Teno’im) between R. Boruch Bendet Wiesel and Henelen the daughter of R. Mordechai Gimpel, Dayan of Frankfurt. Signed by R. Boruch Bendet Viezel (the Choson) and R. Mordechai Gimpel (father of the Kallah).
R. Boruch Bendet Wiesel (1690-1754), served as Rov in Breslau and later as Rov of Kalisch, both of which were extremely prominent kehillos and had a long line of distinguished Rabbonim. This document is of particular interest as at the time of this betrothal R. Bendet was serving as Rov of Breslau but had seemingly already been appointed as Rov of Kalisch. Author of sefer Mekor Boruch, Dyhernfurth 1755 and Amsterdam 1771.
R. Mordechai Gimpel served as Dayan in Frankfurt seemingly during the tenure of R. Yaakov Poprush (Shev Yaakov) as Rav.

הסכם אירוסים” תנאים” בכתב יד בין ר’ ברוך בנדט וויזל והענלען בתו של ר’ מרדכי גימפל, דיין בפרנקפורט. חתום בידי ר’ ברוך בנדט וויזל (החתן) ור’ מרדכי גימפל (אבי הכלה).
ר’ ברוך בנדט וויזל (ת”נ- תקי”ד, 1690-1754) כיהן תחילה כרב בברסלוי ולאחריה בקאליש, אשר שתיהן היו קהילות חשובות ביותר ובהן כיהנו שורה ארוכה של רבנים נכבדים. מסמך זה מעניין ביותר שכן בזמן הארוסים היה הר’ בנדט הרב בברסלוי, אולם ככל הנראה כבר נתמנה לרב בקאליש. חיבר את הספר מקור ברוך דיהנפורט תקט”ו (1755) ואמסטרדם תקל”א (1771).
ר’ מרדכי גימפל כיהן כדיין בפרנקפורט כנראה בזמן ששימש ר’ יעקב פופרש (שב יעקב) כרב.
