Extremely important Hebrew manuscript, in 3 volumes, written in square and cursive scripts with some Hungarian, on the history of Hungarian Rabbonim. Authored by R. Meir Stein (1865-1933), who served as Rav of Miklosz and later Tirnau and published both responsa and rabbinic history. He studied under R. Simcha Bunim Sofer of Pressburg (Shevet Sofer), R. Yoseph Honig of Nitra, as well as in the Yeshivos of Erlau and Galanta.
Volume 2 also contains addresses and lectures delivered at a meeting of the Agudas Ha’Rabbonim in Pressburg, 1924. Vol. 3 also contains some Talmudic novella.
Volume 1: 175 pages; names of Rabbonim “Aleph”-“Mem”. Volume 2: 98, 23 pages; names of Rabbonim “Nun”-“Reish”. Volume 3: 131 pages; names of Rabbonim “Shin”.

שלושה כרכים של כתב יד חשוב ביותר בעברית, באותיות מרובעות ורגילות עם מעט הונגרית, על תולדותיהם של רבני הונגריה. המחבר- ר’ מאיר שטיין (תרכ”ה- תרצ”ג, 1865-1933) – שימש כרב במישקלוץ ואחר כך בטירנא. חיבר ספרי שו”ת והיסטוריה רבנית. רבותיו היו ר’ שמחה בונים סופר מפרשבורג (שבט סופר) ור’ יוסף הוניג מניטרא, וכן למד בישיבות ערלוי וגלנטא.
החלק השני כולל גם נאומים ודרשות שנאמרו בכינוס אגודת הרבנים בפרשבורג בתרפ”ד (1924). החלק השלישי מכיל גם מעט חידושי תורה.
