First edition of the Talmud Yerushalmi. All four parts bound in one volume, with four separate title pages at the beginning of each of the four orders. The first word of each of the orders within elaborate floral woodcut. Comprises: Zera’im, Moed, Noshim and Nezikin, the latter being titled “Sefer Yeshuos”.
The Jerusalem Talmud is a collection of rabbinic notes on the second-century Jewish oral tradition known as the Mishnah. The Jerusalem Talmud was compiled in Erets Yisroel, and was completed sometime around 400. It precedes its counterpart, the Babylonian Talmud by about 200 years and is written in both Hebrew and Aramaic. This first edition is based upon the Leiden manuscript on which all later editions are based.

התלמוד הירושלמי הוא אוסף של הערות רבניות על התורה שבעל פה המכונה “משנה” שנכתבה במאה השנייה. התלמוד הירושלמי חובר בארץ ישראל והושלם בסביבות שנת 400. הוא הקדים את התלמוד המקביל לו, תלמוד בבלי, בכמאתיים שנה, וכתוב בעברית ובארמית. מהדורה ראשונה זו מבוססת על כתב היד של ליידן, שעליו מתבססות כל המהדורות הבאות.
