First edition of the Mussar discourses of R. Yeruchum Halevy Levovitz. Printed at end of 1939, immediately prior to the onset of the Holocaust.
R. Yeruchum was considered the most eminent of the leaders of the Mussar movement in the period between the two wars. As Mashgiach in the Mir Yeshiva his Mussar discourses were attended by hundreds, and his every thought was treated with great reverence. Following his passing in 1936, his students began the task of preparing his lectures for publication, but it was not until late 1939 that they were actually printed.
Entire sefer, with the exception of the title page and introduction, printed in stencil form.
