Response to the arguments in Mitpachas Seforim (Altona 1768), concerning the origin and authenticity of the Zohar. Based on almost all the quotes in Talmud Bavli and Talmud Yerushalmi in the name of R. Shimon Bar Yochai.
R. Moshe Kunitz (1774-1837) served as Rav in Ofen and Budapest. He was a somewhat interesting personality, as he was a great Talmudic scholar as well as being fluent in secular studies and was familiar with members of the Enlightenment.
